Acceptance and age

By using Celestial Somm, you agree to these Terms. Celestial Somm is intended only for people who are at least 21 years old. If you are under 21, do not use the wine-recommendation features.

What Celestial Somm provides

Celestial Somm provides wine-discovery, editorial, recommendation, educational, and entertainment features. It may help identify a wine, compare choices, explain tradeoffs, surface producer information, or link you to a third party where a wine may be available.

Celestial Somm is not itself a licensed alcohol retailer through these features and does not guarantee that a wine can legally be purchased or shipped to your location.

Recommendations and accuracy

Recommendations are informational. Wine changes across vintages, storage conditions, bottle variation, release dates, markets, and individual palates. Prices and availability can change quickly.

We work to identify wines accurately, but label recognition and AI-assisted analysis can be wrong. Confidence labels and explanatory language are not guarantees. If a recommendation matters to a purchase decision, use the available evidence and your own judgment.

Responsible use

Celestial Somm is designed around wine discovery, not drinking volume. Use alcohol responsibly and in accordance with applicable law. Do not drink and drive or use Celestial Somm in a way that encourages unsafe alcohol consumption.

Astrology

Astrology content is editorial and entertainment-oriented. It is not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and it should not be treated as a substitute for professional guidance or factual decision-making where that guidance is appropriate.

Third-party links and purchases

Celestial Somm may link to producers, retailers, distributors, publications, or other third parties. Those sites are independent from Celestial Somm. Their prices, inventory, shipping rules, age verification, privacy practices, refund policies, and terms apply to transactions you make with them.

A link does not guarantee availability, legality of shipment, merchant performance, or current pricing.

Community submissions

If you submit a wine, producer, story, link, photo, or other material through the community radar, you represent that you have the right to submit it.

You grant Celestial Somm a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, review, analyze, and use the submission as reasonably necessary to operate, evaluate, improve, research, and potentially feature Celestial Somm and its editorial work. You retain ownership of your original material.

Submitting something does not guarantee that Celestial Somm will research, recommend, publish, respond to, or feature it.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Celestial Somm name, branding, site design, original editorial material, recommendation presentation, software, illustrations owned by Celestial Somm, and other original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

You may use the site for personal, lawful purposes. Do not copy, scrape, republish, interfere with, or commercially exploit protected Celestial Somm content or systems in a way that violates applicable law or these Terms.

No warranty

Celestial Somm is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, perfect wine identification, availability of any particular bottle, accuracy of third-party information, or that every recommendation will match your taste.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Celestial Somm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, third-party purchases, reliance on recommendations, or inability to access the service.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the product changes. Continued use after an updated effective date means the updated Terms apply to subsequent use.
